I Can Do All Things
Scripture
“I know how to live humbly, and I know how to abound. I am accustomed to any and every situation—to being filled and being hungry, to having plenty and having need. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”
Philippians 4:12-13
BSBDevotion
This verse gets quoted on gym walls, but its context is even better than the highlight. Paul wrote it from prison, having learned contentment in both plenty and need. 'I can do all things' isn't a promise of unlimited PRs — it's a promise of sufficient strength in every circumstance, good or hard. Whether today is a personal-best day or a barely-get-through-it day, Christ's strength meets you exactly where you are.
Prayer
Christ, I don't need You just for the wins — I need You in the hard, ordinary, and low days too. Thank You for being enough in abundance and in need. Strengthen me for whatever today holds.
Reflection Question
Are you currently in a season of 'abounding' or 'abasing' — and how does Christ's strength meet you there?
Foundation
Whatever your energy level today, do a small movement anyway — even just a 5-minute walk — as an act of trusting Christ's strength, not your own.
