Be Strong and of Good Courage
Scripture
“Have I not commanded you to be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9
BSBDevotion
Joshua stood at the edge of a new season with giants ahead of him, and God's command wasn't 'wait until you feel ready.' It was 'be strong and courageous now, because I am already with you.' Courage isn't the absence of fear — it's moving forward with God despite it. Whatever giant you're facing today, whether it's a comeback after injury, a hard conversation, or just getting off the couch, you don't face it alone.
Prayer
Lord, when fear whispers that I'm not ready, remind me that You go before me. Give me courage to take the next step today, trusting that Your presence is bigger than my fear.
Reflection Question
What 'giant' are you facing that requires courage instead of certainty?
